What Is The EPA Safer Choice Certification? 

The Safer Choice program from the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) helps consumers and businesses find effective products that tested negative for harmful substances that impact human and environmental health. How does Chem-Dry keep their EPA Safe Choice certification?

The EPA conducts a yearly audit of everyone using the EPA Safer Choice certification. The criteria for keeping the certification includes submitting receipts, invoices, and any other requested documentation to prove the company or organization is purchasing and using EPA Safer Choice certified products to the fullest extent possible.

 Businesses such as Chem-Dry also have to attest that information and resources are provided to the users of the EPA certified product about the product and best practices. Questionnaire identification on how many homes and/ or businesses are served by Chem-Dry is required, along with our informational materials that mention the certification.
